![]() My latest command looked like that: ffmpeg -y -i infile.mkv -map 0:v -c:v copy -map 0:a -c:a:0 copy -map 0:a -c:a:1 flac -map 0:s -c:s copy -metadata:s:a:0 title="DTS" -metadata:s:a:0 language="English" -metadata:s:a:1 title="Flac" -metadata:s:a:1 language="English" -metadata:s:v title="HEVC" -metadata:s:s:1 language="French" -metadata:s:s:1 title="Francais" -metadata:s:s:0 language="English" -metadata:s:s:0 title="English" outfile.mkv The problem is, this gets quite a lengthy and messy command. Then I add metadata to all of that (title and language mostly). I occasionally also add one or more subtitles streams. ![]() That way I enjoy the original stream when possible, and "downgrade" when not. So when this happens, I usually download the file(s), pass it through FFMPEG, and re-upload it.Īs I don't wish to alter the original streams of the file, I copy the "faulty" stream, and clone it plus re-encode it to a new stream. My NAS is not powerful enough to decode h265, and doesn't have the licenses to read DTS sound. I have a bunch of videos hosted on my NAS, and often need to re-encode the video or audio. I am looking for a GUI to help me in my task. Hello community, I have come to ask your help.
